🔐 Password security
Your password is never stored in plain text. Before it leaves your browser we hash it with SHA‑256 + a unique random salt per account. Even if someone got the database, your real password cannot be recovered — not by attackers, and not by us.
🛡️ What we store
Only what's needed to run your account: your username, email, salted password hash, the monitors you create and the Discord webhooks you wire up. No phone number, no address, no payment info — Pinggy is free forever.
🚫 What we don't do
No ads. No third‑party trackers. No analytics SDKs. No selling your data — ever. We don't read your webhook messages, we don't inspect the sites you monitor, and we never share your account with anyone.
💬 Discord webhooks
When a monitor changes state, your browser sends a single HTTPS request directly to the Discord webhook URL you configured. Pinggy never proxies, logs or stores the contents of those messages.
⛏️ Minecraft status
MC checks call the public api.mcsrvstat.us service. Only the server address you entered is sent — no account info travels with the request.
🔑 You are in control
You can change your password, edit your profile or permanently delete your account and every monitor at any time from
Settings → Danger zone. Deletion is instant and irreversible.
